Often compared to Ottmar Liebert, and described as "Wes Montgomery meets Bruce Cockburn", he has opened shows for a wide range of artists such as Delbert McClinton, Blues Traveler, Dr. John, Larry Coryell, David Grisman, Son Seals, David Wilcox, Sonia Dada Roger McGuinn, John Cowen, Richard Elliott, and more.
